Machine wash your towel with warm water on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Bleach not recommended or needed. Use of fabric softeners allowed if desired. Tumble dry on medium heat.

How it Works

The electrostatic attraction from positively charged Silver ions impacts the respiratory and reproductive processes of bacterial microbes. These multiple assaults on individual microbes reduce the growth rate and eliminate bacteria buildup on surfaces.

Pure, food grade Silver ions are infused into the polyester yarn at the time of creation making them a permanent, active part of the fabric.

We don’t stop there. We are committed to confirming our towels are truly antibacterial. Samples from each production run are sent to a 3rd party facility for testing to confirm the towel meets antibacterial standards.

SILVERbac™ Silver infused Polyester

An EPA registered, patented material that infuses pure, food grade Silver ions into polyester material at the time of creation. Unlike other Silver textiles that use a Silver finish or coating and can therefore rub, leach or wear off, SILVERbac™ material remains effective for the life of the product. SILVERbac™ material has been clinically tested to fight against all major classes of bacteria, fungi and molds as well as viruses such as COVID-19.

Pure Organic Bamboo

Naturally occurring, bamboo has multiple textile benefits. Bamboo has naturally enhanced moisture wicking and breathability properties due to its honeycomb chemical structure. It is known for its natural antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties due to the lignins found in the plant cell walls. Unlike other brands that utilize bamboo mixed with other fibers like viscose, Dermwel utilizes 100% organic bamboo raw material to ensure all properties are naturally occurring and not chemically added.

Premium Cotton

Premium cotton is made from longer fibers and is used for its superior softness and durability compared to regular cotton.

Why should I use an antibacterial, hypoallergenic towel?

We also love using our towels at the gym where it is a breeding ground for bacteria!

What’s the difference between SILVERbac™ technology and other Silver coated towels?

Most towels on the market that utilize Silver simply add a coating or finish to the towel after it’s been produced. Not only does this rub and wear off over time decreasing antibacterial properties of the towel, but you can also experience leaching of the Silver into the water system.

However, SILVERbac™ patented technology infuses Silver ions into the polyester yarn itself which makes it a durable, permanent solution.

How often should I wash the Antibacterial Face Towel?

Given the antimicrobial properties, you only need to wash this towel a third of the time you would for a standard towel!

Are there any special care instructions?

No! Wash the Antibacterial Face Towel like you would any of your other regular towels.

We don't recommend using bleach as it is not necessary given the antibacterial properties. We do love using a fabric softener though to keep your towel extra soft!

How long will this towel stay active?

Unlike other antibacterial towels that use a coating or finish that wears off with use, our face towel utilizes SILVERbac™ material that has the antibacterial Silver fused into polyester at the time of production. Therefore, the towel remains active through it’s lifespan!

What testing is performed?

Our Antibacterial Face Towel is certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, Step by OEKO-TEX, GOTS.

Additionally, each production run is tested to confirm the antibacterial properties!
