Salicylic Acid
A beta hydroxy acid (BHA), Salicylic Acid is the gold standard for treating closed and inflamed comedones, otherwise known as acne. Traditionally it can be irritating on the skin due to its smaller molecular size and need for a lower pH environment. However, Dermwel’s proprietary encapsulated Salicylic Acid mitigates these concerns allowing for a gradual, time released delivery of the potent acid which not only allows reduces skin irritation but provides better penetration and longer acting results.

Diglucosyl Gallic Acid

A 4 week clinical study was performed to confirm Daily Dose is non-comedogenic. The study included 30 panelists - age ranged from 18 - 52, 50% acne prone, full Fitzpatrick scale represented. Results found that not only is Daily Dose non-comedogenic, but panelists on average saw a reduction in comedones.

Patience is a virtue. Daily Dose provides some instant results such as dewy, more hydrated feeling skin. However, you’ll need to wait 4 – 8 weeks before you see brighter, more toned smooth looking skin.

Yes! In fact, Daily Dose was developed to pair perfectly with your retinoid at night. The chemical exfoliant complex aids in slewing off old cells turned over with retinoid use at night while the calming and soothing ingredients support a strong skin barrier. We suggest using Daily Dose in the morning and your retinoid at night.

Daily Dose can be used both AM and PM if desired. We love using it after our cleanser in the AM before a lightweight moisturizer and SPF. We’ll use it at night if we’re not using a retinoid!
